Our mission:
The Lancer Scroll of Bell Gardens High School provides a forum for free and responsible expression of student opinions and presents a well-balanced, locally researched coverage of issues of broader student interests. Along with these standards, the student press maintains high ethical standards with regard to fairness, personal and legal rights, responsibilities and accuracy. The Lancer Scroll publication strives for a high level of competency in the technical aspects of writing, including grammar, spelling, clarity and precision. The student press welcomes diversity and increases the scope and depth of our coverage in order to heighten mutual understanding and awareness throughout our entire school community.
